Scope of Work
Basetec Services was engaged to remediate concrete façade panels at a city car park for asset longevity, aesthetics and safety. All work was required to be done during the night to minimise disruption to the shopping precinct. Most services required working at height.
Basetec Services expertise included:
- Dilapidation survey and inspection of internal and external concrete façades and adjacent areas.
- Concrete repairs in over 100 locations on external and internal surfaces using crack injection, V-cut crack repairs, core holes repairs and masonry crack stitching work.
- Chemical stripping of existing paint and graffiti from the internal surfaces.
- Installation of 18 permanent anchors and using them to complete pressure washing and coating on externals too difficult to access via scaffold or EWP.
- Application of an anti-carbonation coating to 2,700m2.
- Hot pressure wash the internal & external façade panels.
- Traffic and pedestrian management.
- Project management.
