Basetec Services was engaged by Broadspectrum to supply D.5 and D.4 ISO 14692 qualified pipe installers and supervisors for the Merrimellia to Tirrawarra Crude Oil Flow Line project.

The project consisted of 9500 meters of API 15HR threaded GRE pipe. Basetec and Broadspectrum installed over a kilometre of pipe in any one day and set new records for pipeline installation speeds.
