Basetec Services was engaged by York Civil to supply and install a 2.5mm thick HDPE liner, to protect the concrete from Hydrogen Sulphide attack. The liner was applied throughout the inlet and outlet channels, as well as the bypass channel and grit vortex chambers to both the eastern and western sides of the project.

The total area of work was approximately 1000m2 and consisted of some very tricky and detailed areas. 

Basetec completed all of its own internal spark and pull off testing for the HDPE material, in accordance with the manufacturer and project specifications.
